People differ in the extent to which they believe society should be organised around equality or hierarchy. These differences influence attitudes towards leadership, authority, competition and social policy.

This test gauges your social dominance: your desire to rule and control others. Recent research performed by our team at EPFL showed that men scoring high on social dominance perform decision making faster than men scoring low on social dominance. The scores are linked to certain political ideologies, and is further strongly linked to emotional intelligence.
