These Terms and Conditions govern the purchase and use of products and services provided by Persometrics Sàrl through persometrics.ch.

Please read them carefully before purchasing a product or using a Persometrics testing service.

1. About Persometrics

Persometrics Sàrl is a Swiss company providing health, wellness, biomarker testing and psychometric services.

2. Services covered by these Terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to products and services supplied by Persometrics, including physical products and test kits, laboratory testing services, questionnaires, reports and other information or services made available through persometrics.ch.

Persometrics may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to a purchase are those in effect at the time the order is placed.

3. Making a purchase

When you place an order through our website, you will receive confirmation electronically.

An automated acknowledgement that we have received your order does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example, a product or service is unavailable, payment cannot be completed, an obvious pricing error has occurred, or we are unable to provide the requested service.

If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the corresponding amount will be refunded.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase Persometrics products and services unless a particular service expressly states otherwise.

You must also be legally capable of entering into a contract and provide accurate information necessary for us to fulfil your order.

Products and services may only be available in certain countries or regions. Availability and shipping eligibility displayed at the time of purchase apply to the relevant order.

We reserve the right not to accept an order where we cannot lawfully or practically provide the requested product or service in the customer's location.

5. Prices and payment

Unless otherwise stated, prices are displayed in Swiss francs (CHF).

Where prices are displayed in another currency for information purposes, the amount ultimately charged by a payment provider or financial institution may vary as a result of exchange rates or fees applied by that provider.

The final price displayed and accepted during checkout applies to the transaction.

Persometrics may change its prices at any time. A subsequent price change does not affect an order that has already been accepted.

Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Persometrics does not need to retain complete payment-card or payment-account credentials in order to process your purchase.

6. Delivery and turnaround times

Persometrics aims to process and deliver orders as quickly as reasonably possible.

Any delivery or turnaround times stated on our website are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise. Postal services, laboratories, suppliers and other third parties involved in providing a service may occasionally experience delays outside Persometrics' control.

7. Damaged, faulty or lost goods

If a test kit or other physical product arrives damaged or appears unusable, please contact Persometrics promptly so that we can investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement.

Please also contact us if an order has not arrived within a reasonable period after dispatch.

The shipment of biological samples through the postal system is partly outside Persometrics' control. If more than two weeks have passed since you sent your samples to the laboratory and you have not received an update, please contact us so that we can investigate.

If a sample cannot be analysed because of a problem with the sample, collection procedure, transport or another technical issue, please contact us. The appropriate remedy will depend on the circumstances and may include providing replacement sampling materials or arranging recollection.

8. Cancellation and returns

You may request cancellation of an unused test kit within 28 days of receiving it, provided that the samples have not been collected or sent to the laboratory for analysis and the kit remains suitable for return.

To request cancellation, contact Persometrics within the 28-day period.

Where a return is accepted, unused sampling materials must be returned to Persometrics as instructed. Once the returned kit has been received and checked, any applicable refund will be made using the original payment method where possible.

Once samples have been collected or sent for laboratory analysis, or once performance of a personalised testing or reporting service has begun, the service can no longer normally be cancelled.

Nothing in this section limits any rights you may have under mandatory applicable consumer law.

9. Sampling and laboratory analysis

The reliability of laboratory results depends in part on correct sample collection and handling.

You are responsible for following the sampling instructions supplied by Persometrics, including instructions concerning collection times, storage, preparation and shipment.

Hormone concentrations can vary naturally according to time of day, health, medication, lifestyle and other physiological factors. Results therefore represent the samples analysed under the conditions in which they were collected and should be interpreted accordingly.

Persometrics and its laboratory partners use procedures intended to provide reliable analytical results, but no biological measurement is entirely free from analytical or biological variability.

10. Health information and medical advice

Persometrics provides information intended primarily for personal information, education and wellness purposes.

Unless expressly stated otherwise for a particular regulated service, information provided through Persometrics, including laboratory results, questionnaires, reports, indexes and website content, is not a diagnosis and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment.

If you have questions or concerns about your health, symptoms, laboratory results, medication or treatment, you should consult an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical care because of information obtained through the Persometrics website, a questionnaire or a Persometrics report.

11. Lifestyle information

Persometrics may provide information concerning subjects such as stress, exercise, nutrition, sleep and other aspects of lifestyle and wellbeing.

We seek to base this information on relevant scientific evidence. Scientific understanding nevertheless develops over time, and individual responses to lifestyle interventions can vary.

Persometrics does not guarantee that a particular course of action, lifestyle change or other intervention will produce a particular result.

Changes that may materially affect your health, particularly where you have an existing medical condition, take medication or have health concerns, should be discussed with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

12. Liability

Persometrics takes reasonable care in providing its products, services and information.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability arising from fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Persometrics is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from circumstances reasonably outside its control, including disruption or failure of postal services, telecommunications or infrastructure; acts or omissions of independent third parties; natural events; industrial action; cyberattacks despite reasonable security measures; or other events of force majeure.

Persometrics is not responsible for decisions made contrary to the sampling instructions supplied with a test or contrary to advice from an appropriately qualified healthcare professional.

Where permitted by applicable law, Persometrics will not be liable for indirect or consequential business losses arising from use of its consumer products or services, including loss of revenue, anticipated profits, business opportunities or goodwill.

Nothing in these Terms affects rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Website information

We make reasonable efforts to ensure that information presented on persometrics.ch is accurate and current.

Website content may nevertheless be updated as scientific knowledge, products, prices and services change.

Photographs and illustrations are provided for informational and presentational purposes and may not exactly represent the appearance of a product supplied.

14. Intellectual property

The Persometrics name and logo are the property of Persometrics Sàrl.

Unless otherwise stated, Persometrics owns or is authorised to use the intellectual property contained in its website, reports and other original published materials.

These materials may be used for your personal, non-commercial purposes in connection with Persometrics products and services.

They may not be reproduced, distributed, modified, commercially exploited or presented as the work of another person without permission, except where permitted by law.

15. Privacy and personal data

Persometrics takes the protection of personal and sensitive data seriously.

16. Governing law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law.

Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules concerning jurisdiction, disputes relating to these Terms or Persometrics services shall be subject to the competent courts in Switzerland.
